In 2022 The fm Company acquired a 40% shareholding in The Security & Gates Company Ltd to enhance its ability to deliver electronic security; including the design, specification, installation and maintenance of access control and door entry system solutions.

The fm Company now delivers installation and maintenance solutions to commercial clients across the UK via our subsidiary partner.

The Security & Gates Company are based at The fm Company Head Offices in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire which makes the co-ordination and delivery of acces control solutions an easy undertaking.

We apply an all-of-market approach when specifying access control and door entry system products, which means that our Clients benefit from a broader choice of hardware and software solutions to suit each individual need. So whether you’re driven by cost, quality or the need for a specific system capability our organisation is able to help.

Access control systems maintenance and/or off site entry solutions are delivered by The fm Company as stand-alone services. Our organisation is able to provide costs to either take these services over from a current provider, or to ensure that a system we have installed has an adequare maintenance programme in place, to protect any warranties or guarantees on products.
